Creative freedom in the released game

You can make personal designs for the shop window as well as work through the town’s requests. Use off-the-rack creation when your goal is to explore a colour scheme or silhouette without treating a specific commission as the design brief.

That is a useful distinction from a separate menu option called a sandbox mode. The store describes creative freedom and window sales, but that wording should not be stretched into a claim about unlimited resources or a separate unlocked mode.

What the developers announced after launch

The September 21 announcement names an online design challenge with voting, transparent fabrics, controller support and planned mobile and Switch ports. Those are development plans, not released features on this page. No date is promised here.

For current availability, use the Steam store and the official news links below. Avoid APK downloads or port claims that do not lead back to an announcement from the developer.

Steam release and the prototype

The full Steam game released on September 21, 2026 for Windows and macOS. The downloadable itch.io prototype is an earlier, separate version. A control tip or limitation seen in the prototype does not automatically describe the Steam release.

When following a video, check its publication date and visible interface. Older footage can be useful for understanding the concept while still showing a different selection of patterns, customers or options.

A personal design session

1. Pick one feature to explore, such as a printed panel or lace border.
2. Sketch the silhouette and choose the fabrics.
3. Keep a manual spending limit in the planner if you want to control costs.
4. Finish the dress, inspect it from several angles and use the shop window route described by the game.
